STILLBORN GHOSTS
A still calm was broken
as the wreck of war embroidered their flesh.
Their listless bodies lie bent & broken
like stillborn ghosts
with eyes upturned to Heaven;
where prayers hung unanswered
like a tangled string of luminous halos
burning in Hell's despair.
as the wreck of war embroidered their flesh.
Their listless bodies lie bent & broken
like stillborn ghosts
with eyes upturned to Heaven;
where prayers hung unanswered
like a tangled string of luminous halos
burning in Hell's despair.

Untitled
Half-smoked & discarded
Crushed against the earth
I yield to the still remains of the day
With bolted eyes & kept breath

I yield to the still remains of the day
With bolted eyes & kept breath

STILL-LIFE MUSIC
The warmth and punch of her cool electro-swagger
was sharpened to a gleaming edge,
a dead-of-night assault amid the frozen traffic
that left me stripped bare and failed for breath.
was sharpened to a gleaming edge,
a dead-of-night assault amid the frozen traffic
that left me stripped bare and failed for breath.
